Next Xbox at E3 2012? With Timesplitters 4?

This year's E3 has only just passed and we're already talking about next year's edition.
The rumours that a third generation Xbox will be shown are getting louder and more credible, and a new report only fuels them even more.
A source within Crytek told Videogamer that the company is working on Timesplitters 4 which would be released on Xbox 3. This also means they're using DirectX 11.
That same person therefore expects that we'll get to see the new hardware at E3 2012 and that Microsoft will launch it before Sony can bring their successor to the PS3 to market.
He did add that they're also doing several investments for making games for the Playstation 4.
He believes their Timesplitters game will be the visual standard for the next Xbox when it launches. They're using CryEngine 3 and focus on different storyline options for the game, lots of possibilities to explore and sandbox gameplay.
True or not, Timesplitters 4 was announced by Free Radical in 2007 but then things went quiet when the developer went bankrupt two years later. Crytek, however, bought the remainders of the studio so it wouldn't be totally unlogical if they are working on it.
