Nextgen FPS Fall of Liberty announced

Spark Unlimited (known from titles as Finest Hour) and Codemasters have teamed up to create a WOII first person shooter. The 'original' thing about this title is that it features an alternative reality of the Second World War.

In Fall of Liberty the Nazis enter the USA and start to bring mayhem into the deadlocked society. As always the developers are very happy and full of promises.

“We share a desire to immerse players in an incredible and intensely realistic vision of an alternative world history that will uniquely define Fall of Liberty in the FPS genre. Codemasters is providing Spark the opportunity to present something radically different than typical WWII scenarios as the player is not cast as a liberator of Europe but as a defender of freedom in enemy-occupied America.”

Well at least it will be fun to invade the USA as Heinz Kartüffel packed with retrofuturistic (is that even a word?) weapons.
