Nice trailer shows off new Titan mode in BF2142

The Swedish fansite BF2142.se has put up a new trailer for Battlefield 2142, the newest iteration in the Battlefield-series from EA/Dice.

This movie (25 MB) shows the new Titan mode

which will finally be an alternative to the much praised but also overly used Conquest mode of the Battlefield-games.

Each team has a Titan, which are floating fortresses that the other team needs to destroy (while protecting it's own).

Once infantry gets in (by landing on the Titan through pods) they need to pass several checkpoints before they can blow up the Titan's core. It looks spectacular for sure but let's wait and see how this mix of UT2004's Assault/Onslaught will work out for real.
