Nintendo: no price drop for Wii and DS

Nintendo sees no reason to drop the price of the Wii and the Nintendo DS in the USA, and hence, there will be no price drops in Europe either.

The reason for this is that both the DS and the Wii keep selling better and better every month, which leads Nintendo to the conclusion that the price for the console and handheld is just right and needs no adjustment. This is wat Reggie Fils-Aime told Reuters in an interview.

For all of you who were thinking that Nintendo wanted to reclaim the title of cheapest console after the recent price drops of the Xbox 360, think again.
