Nintendo plans Wiiboy?
The USPTO, the American patent office, has registered a new patent on August 2nd, requested by Nintendo.
The patent speaks of a handheld console, which contains a motion sensor, so the handheld can recognize movement on the X- and Y-axis. A switch detect sensor provides Z-axis movement detection.
This doesn't mean Nintendo is developing such a handheld, or is even planning to, but it does make it a montion sensing handheld a lot more likely. And it makes sure nobody can beat Nintendo to the market with one.
