Nintendo to announce Wii HD?

It is very possible that Nintendo, scheduled to have a press conference tomorrow, is going to announce some new Wii hardware.

According to What They Play it would be a successor of the Wii called the Wii HD. It would be the real successor of the Wii, like the GB Advance was the successor to the GB.

Apart from delivering HD images, there would also be more backwards compatibility, bigger storage and digital distribution. A release would be from somewhere in 2011.

There are also rumors that Nintendo is going to announce a new DS. But as always, these are all just rumors. We'll know for sure tomorrow.
