No DSi launch event

Nintendo is not planning on organising a launch event this Friday for their latest handeld, the DSi, because "it's an evolution of the hardware and not a replacement". Some shops are opening at midnight, though.

The Nintendo DSi is equiped with among other things bigger and brighter screens, two cameras, an SD memory card slot (at the expense of the slot for GBA games!) and overall improvements.
