No FFVII remake in sight
Fans have been shouting for years to see a modern remake of the cult classic Final Fantasy VII, a phenomenon that even got bigger when Square had transferred one scene of the game to the PS3 as a tech demo.
Up to now lovers of the game only got the original game as download for the PS3/PSP and it looks like it will stay that way for a very long time still. Tetsuya Nomura, who made the characters, has told Famitsu that a remake won't be coming anytime soon and that we shouldn't be expecting anything in the near future.
What he did have as good news was that Cloud Strife, probably the most popular character in the game, will be making his appearance in other titles.

"It's possible that he will appear in other titles as a guest character," Nomura teased.
Of course we already saw Cloud in FF Tactics and Kingdom Hearts, but for the hardcore fans that one sentence may be enough for a happy Sunday.In other news:
