No Half-Life Episode 3 in 2010, dixit Valve

2010 promises to be a great year for gamers with some highly anticipated titles on the release schedule. One of those titles that still had a question mark behind them was of course Valve's latest installment in the Half-Life franchise named Episode 3.

US game magazine Game Informer has now erased that question mark along with the complete title as they state that there will be nothing Half-Life related to play in 2010.

Half-Life 2: Episode 3, which is the successor to the 2007 add-on Episode 2, is supposedly the final chapter in the Half-Life 2 saga and might even be the end of the entire Half-Life franchise.

Whatever the title might hold for us, they better hurry up before the Source engine dies of old age and we all lose interest.

i agree. it's time for them to man up and make another more modern engine as well as a better physics engine.
