No Online Skating for PS3
Joystiq has word that Tony Hawk's Project 8 will not feature any online component for the PS3. Gamers wanting to go online with the title better make sure that they have an Xbox360
One of the reasons for PS3 not having multiplayer is that Neversoft only recently got their final hardware and that they still haven't received their final libraries.
Some of the tidbits we learned were that there will be multiplayer gameplay available to players on Xbox 360 through XBL, as well as persistent leaderboards that you can check from the in game menus at any time. However, no such love for the PS3 version, which will have no online elements whatsoever.
