We won't be seeing any announcements for a successor to the Xbox 360 or PS3 at E3 this year.
The news was confirmed by Cedrick Delmas, marketing director of Microsoft France:
Meanwhile, also Sony hinted we won't be hearing from them about a successor to the PS3. PlayStation France boss Philippe Cardone said Lepoint.fr that his company will probably be the last to unveil something regarding their next generation plans.

"Xbox 360′s cycle is not at all finished. The proof is that we don’t see the logic in cutting the price this year. E3 is still premature. What’s certain is that there’ll be nothing new in 2012.”
