No more "Room" for PSP Go

The Japan-only closed beta of Room, a social networking service for the PSP, has ended and with that Sony Entertainment has decided to scrap the project.
The Japanese Playstation Blog has been updated with a thank you note to participants in the beta and word that all development on the service has been halted.
Room was supposed to allow users to get customisable avatars, virtual spaces, and interact with friends via chat and blogs.
