No public beta for Battlefield 1943

Battlefield 1943: Pacific will not have a public beta before the launch in the digital stores. To please gamers somewhat, a trial will be given before one has to start paying. According to EA DICE producer Gordon Van Dycke this trial is going to be an unnecessary luxury anyway as everyone will want to have the game no matter what.

"No beta, but we have a trial version that lets you confirm what you already thought - that this game is the best USD 15 I will ever spend!"

The downloadable game will become available in the Playstation Store and on Xbox Live Marketplace. You'll have to pay about 15 euros or 1200 Microsoft points. PC gamers will have to wait until September.

And about Gordon Van Dycke: the man should tone down the attitude if you ask me...

Was anyone really expecting a beta for this, i mean c'mon we all know exactly what its all about and as stated and as is obvious since its an arcade game there will be a trial version you can play for free, was this really worth even mentioning.
