Okami coming to Wii?

It might be a rumour, but it's a very interesting one nonetheless. A 'reliable source' told IGN that Capcom is considering porting Okami to the Wii. The source even said the game may very well be underway already.

Capcom said the following:

However, when we asked Capcom UK for confirmation of Okami's move to Wii we got this response: "Officially we have no plans for Okami on Wii at this time. Research and development are always looking at possibilities but given Clover is now closed for business, I think it highly unlikely a Wii version would be possible."

Where there's smoke, there's fire, one could say. Or is it indeed a far-fetched rumour?
