Since the release of Blue Dragon in Japan on December 7th, the game was sold 70.000 times. Most gamers bought the title seperately but about 27.000 of them did buy an Xbox360 to be able to check it out.

Sounds impressive, but for Microsoft Japan this isn't quite the amount they had in mind. Microsoft really wants to break through in Japan and this game was supposed to take care of that but with still 73.000 units available in stores they're not where they want to be yet.

Still, it's a move in the right direction and maybe this can start an upward move
