Oops... another glitch in Modern Warfare 2 updated

Update: Kotaku received word that the glitch has been fixed

A source at Infinity Ward with knowledge of this situation says it will be fixed by the end of this weekend, with no patch necessary. Super-sprint should have been cleared up by late Saturday Pacific time, and the ice physics as of 2 a.m. Sunday (Pacific.) "[The glitches] don't die out immediately," the source said, "but should be nearly [gone] 100 percent by this point."

It seems last year's most popular game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, can't stay out of the news for long.

Again a PC mod seems to have been smuggled onto the Xbox360 version and this time players have the possibility to run up to five times faster than normal. It's like they're ice-skating!

The glitch apparently is commonly used in Sabotage games so if that's your preferred gametype, you may want to watch out.

Before launch, Infinity Ward and Activision - Blizzard decided to no longer support dedicated servers because it would tamper with security and make exploits possible. Seems their measures didn't really help much.

ok, we need steam or whoever to get this game into dedicated servers. Its the only way to enjoy playing this game. Like HL and other games, they seem to work the best on dedicated servers. Please if anyone who has the power to change this, please do it, don't wait any longer, or ppl will get sick of not being able to control how or who can play on their server, its good to ban someone if they are hacking, but for now, we can't do squat........ but leave and hope you dont get a hacker or someone who is abusing the many, many glitches this game has, I have never seen so many.
And as far as ppl who use the glitches, they just made the game one of the worst games of the year, not the best. I call these guys, LOSERS, cause they have no skill, they have to cheat, and they are only cheating themselves, and this will apply for when these guys grow hair on there balls, oh, by the way, cheaters never win, only in their minds.
