How does this compare to X3? How is the flight-model - newtonian or arcade?

I knew it wuoldnt be special when I saw the demo. Mediocre at best.

Flight model is fairly newtonian. There's the right damping etc, but in the end, the ships fly a bit like they used to in Freelancer. There's hardly a flight enevelope to speak off... all very linear.

Blah, think I'll skip it then.
