I've extensively played this game when it came out, hoping that it was something even near as good as Oblivion, but no luck.

The horse controls aren't just difficult, they're TERRIBLE, but that's really minor.

All the armor sets look SO cookie cutter to me, and make yuou, or anyone else that wears them, look like some sort of buffed up body builder. All the characters look fake as a result. There are a few annoying bugs too, but probably the biggest glared over issue is the combat. It's just completely non-interactive. You left click, and the guy hacks and slashes the same three moves over and over (if you change to a different type of weapon, the moves change too though). But there's no real control like in Oblivion.

There's also no first person view from what I understand, and that can break immersion a lot sometimes. But you know what disappointed me most? I was really lookign forward to Necromancy in the game, because I wanted to choose the dark and evil side. When I finally found a couple of necromancers, the spells they gave me were probably weaker, on average, than any other similar spells I had from say, fire and water categories. Any creatures you could summon were all so incredibly weak (by the time you found where to buy Necromancy spells) that they were killed in pretty much one hit.

And what's worse is the promised choice between good and evil, comes so deep into the storyline that I gave up playing before I reached it. And did I mention that all the guild quests were absolutely rubbish? As were the guilds themselves. Nothing like a Dark Brotherhood or a Thieves Guild in Oblivion.

So annoying :/

Ummm...Obviously you haven't played this game enough to get the higher end necromancy spells, but i do have to say your right about the guilds. The guild quests are all the same, kill them, or bring this item. There isn't much to make the guilds different from each other. You don't feel truly evil when you do the necromancer quests like you did when doing the brotherhood quests in oblivion. Even though this game should suck I am somehow addicted to it. You should at least give this game a try if you haven't, especially since the lack of rpgs on the 360.
