PC to get Kinect support... "when the time is right"

Microsoft's Steve Ballmer has suggested we'll be seeing some sort of official support for its motion controller, Kinect, on the PC in the near future.

When Microsoft feels the time is right, that is:

Microsoft chief executive officer Steve Ballmer has hinted to the BBC that he will formally support PC use of the Kinect motion controller in the near future, saying Microsoft "will support that in a formal way in the right time".

With all the Kinect hacks currently out there already, I think that time might come sooner than you would think.
