PC version Borderlands will launch later

The 360 and PS3 versions of Gearbox Software's shooter Borderlands is almost available in stores, on October 23th to be precise, but the PC version will arrive a bit later.

Gearbox decided to optimize the PC version and this of course takes some extra days, according to Charlie Sinhaseni, Senior PR Manager at 2K Games.

"We're optimizing the PC version which takes a few days longer than expected. Borderlands for PC will ship on October 26th."

The North-Americans PC gamers will be able to play Borderlands on October 26th and if we use the same delay on the EU release date of the console versions, then we should be able to get our hands on it starting October 30th.
