PS3 Platinum games also coming to EU

Soon with a silver lining

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has sort of less confirmed that their budget line (Platinum) will also appear on PS3.

According to IGN a similar line is in the making for Japan. A Far Eastern retailer is suggesting Resistance: Fall of Man, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Gundam: Target in Sight and Ridge Racer 7 will get a Platinum re-release.

SCEE didn't want to respond to rumours, but a contact stated the following:

"We have introduced a Platinum range of best selling titles for all of our platforms to date, and it is likely that we will do so in the future for PS3. However, no decisions have yet been made on timing or line-up,"

To be honest, I'd be very surprised if this wouldn't turn out to be true for the PS3. All the other Sony consoles have Platinum/budget games, after all.
