PS3 delay of Final Fantasy XIV due to memory issues

Want to know why Final Fantasy XIV got delayed for PS3? Seems that the devs ran into some problem that hardly ever happens on PC: memory shortage.
“The main reason was the memory,” said Tanaka via his translator.

“On the PC, they have enormous memory. For PS3, there’s a restriction."

“They are adjusting the memory size and customising it; it took longer then we were expecting. But we’re really working hard to bring it out as soon as possible.”
The game is set to arrive in stores end of next month for PC while PS3 owners will have to wait until March 2011. A version for the X360 is still not confirmed but being discussed with Microsoft.

Anyone still in doubt about which platform is technically superior?

the PC will be technologicaly better deppending on how much money you spend on it obviously as you can always make them better but as for which has a better line up for games this generation? Id stick with my console. That along with value for money.
