PS3 price cut imminent?
Don't get your hopes up too high, it's analysts speaking again.
Reuters received word from iSuppli analyst Pamela Tufegdzic (what's in a name) that she believes Sony will be dropping the price of the PS3 again this year.
Sony intends to have its gaming division profitable again by the end of next fiscal year (March 2009) so they'll have to make money somewhere and cutting prices once your console actually starts making money isn't a first choice if you ask me.

"We anticipate Sony will have another price slash on the PS3 this year, and come Christmas, consumers who originally bought the Wii will likely purchase the PS3," Tufegdzic said.
"The battle over consoles ultimately boils down to price."
