PS3-version UT3 not before 2008

Bad luck for those hoping to play Unreal Tournament III on the PS3 in the near future. That version will only be released in 2008, while the PC-version is still slated for November this year. Midway announced to release this game somewhere between January and March.

Publisher and developer Midway has announced that it is revising its Q3 estimates due primarily to delays of its headline PlayStation 3 titles, as PS3 timed exclusive Unreal Tournament 3 misses the holiday season and, along with the European PS3 release of BlackSite, slips into the first quarter of 2008.

What consequences this brings for the Xbox360-version remains unclear.
