In which we take a look at what games you, the readers, are jonesing for.
by Daemon Hatfield
October 9, 2006 - Welcome to a new, weekly feature examining the games you readers are most excited about. While you are moving about the site, clicking away and soaking up all this gaming goodness, IGN is going all Big Brother on your ass: we're watching where you click, how long you stay there, and what color socks you're wearing. And what does all our creepy voyeurism produce? A top ten list of the games you're most interested in! Let's take a look…
Here are the top ten games across all platforms for the week of 10/1/2006 - 10/8/2006:
Halo Wars (X360)
Assassin's Creed (X360)
Gears of War (X360)
BioShock (X360)
Alan Wake (X360)
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
Mass Effect (X360)
Fable 2 (X360)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (X360)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
So two new systems are launching in just over a month, but all you guys are excited about is the year old Xbox 360? It's pretty telling that not only are there no PS3 games on the list, but the 360 version of Assassin's Creed (until just recently a PS3 exclusive) is the one everybody's talking about. As for Alan Wake, we were just as surprised at the title's X06 showing as you were: that game is officially looking badass.

All the decent launch titles for the PS3 are coming out on the X360 with a decent online service (or at the very least an online service period, tony hawks anyone) so i'll get them on that and the rest are poo.
Oh no wait, hang on a mo,ignore what i just said.
Why does anyone give a shit about the PS3 launch, its half a year away.
Who the hell in europe is going to be dumb enough to buy any of the cross platform titles that are launching with the PS3 in march 2007 when they have been available for the X360 5 months earlier.
Sony say europe is more than willing to wait, why dont they ask us instead of not giving us a choice, arrogant shits.
People will still run out and buy the brand new 6 month old PS3 on launch and not even realise they getting fucked over,it will still be full price,it will still be more expensive than any other region and you will still have to fight tooth and nail to get your hands on 1 at launch.
As you may be able to tell,Sony piss me off :P .
