PS4 not before 2010, lots of updates until then

Smarthouse sat down with Sony Europe's Vice President of Technology, Paul Holman, who stated that probably the company will release a Playstation4 but not before 2010.
Until that time, the PS3 will see regular firmware upgrades and new controllers much like the Wii-mote
Also a keyboard and mouse are planned for easier access to the internet.
Maybe they also want to release keyboard and mouse because they want to turn over dedicated PC FPS gamers? ;)

What will happen between then and now is that Sony will introduce a series of firmware upgrades that will give the PS3 more media centre capability while allowing for the introduction of third party applications and hardware "Such as interactive controllers" similar to the Nintendo Wii he said.
Also a keyboard and mouse are planned for easier access to the internet.

I doubt it, if Sony had their way we would all still be playing on the PS2.
If the X360 hadnt come out a year ago and wasnt out now, then we sure as hell wouldnt have a PS3 out now.
