PS4 not being worked on after all? NGP is Vita?
If you believe Sony, they're not working on the Playstation4 just yet. Or whatever they'll call it.
Last Thursday we reported Sony CFO Masaru Kato stated that they were working on a "new platform" as a response to a question during an investor call, asking about increased R&D costs that were present in their latest financials.
Today, a Sony representative has come forward to say that Kato's words have been taken out of context and that he's not referring to a successor for the PlayStation 3, but rather the upcoming NGP handheld platform.
I doubt Sony isn't working on their next console yet, but it seems we're not allowed to know that yet.
And if you want to know the latest rumours regarding the NGP: seems the name might be Playstation Vita.
