It seems the end of the PSN crisis isn't over just yet.

Sony has sent developers a message that reads they're currently confronted with an emergency maintenance. More specifically, this is what they get to see when logging in on the site for developers:
Still no sight of a solution after the network was brought offline last Wednesday after an "external intrusion" was detected.

Up to now, no details have been released other than confirmation that Sony is working on a solution, but that this will take time as the service needs to be "rebuilt".

Yesterday, rumours floated around that the problems were caused by a firmware hack with which you could download stuff from the PSN store without paying while using false credit cards. However, this is still to be confirmed.
