PSP-4000 overhaul rumours confirmed, or are they?

It's been quite the rollercoaster of rumours, claims, presumable specs and more rumours for the PSP-4000 and/or PSP2 and we are still not sure which is which but at least we have something to occupy ourselves until it hits the shelves.

Taking a spin at the big Wheel-o-Rumours this time is Eurogamer who claim they have a developer 'close to SONY' backing up most of the rumours. Jolly!

"The screen is basically the same as the one in the 3000 - except it slides." When 'closed', we were told, the screen won't cover the entire face of the console, but the unit will be "significantly smaller in width" as a result.

Next to that, there UMD drive will be nowhere to be found and there will be shoulderbutton only games for when the screen is it its closed position. Sony seems to be pushing developers to make more arcade like games that work in this setup.

Next up: The PSP2 will feature nice firm tits, cures cancer and produces green energy.
