PSP Go's battery 'replaceable' after all

Contrary to what Sony has been saying for the last few months, crafty gamers will be able to replace the battery in the upcoming PSP Go.

Destructoid decided to call Sony's bluff when they said the battery would be 'untouchable' and ripped their PSP Go apart.

Much to their surprise, instead of an impenetrable forcefield or a titanium wall protected by armed guards, SONY went for the old label and warning of doom pictured below (© Destructoid).

OK, it's not quite as easy to swap as the current generation of Playstation Portables, but at least you have some manoeuvring space.

Let's hope for SONY that they didn't open another portal of magical SD's and mythical batteries that allow home-brew software and, ultimately, piracy.

Actually let's hope for SONY that they DO, otherwise the PSP Go might as well be dead on arrival. PSP Go has nothing going for it to justify that ridiculous price tag.
