Kratos hates running out of juice

The revised PSP has succeeded in revitalising the platform, at least in Japan. The fact that everybody and their dog has a DS in the mean time will have helped a bit of course. A series of good and excellent games for the Sony handheld has only accelerated that success, and with AAA titles such as God of War: Chains of Olympus around the corner, this will probably only continue.

Excellent news then that Sony has invented a new battery for the Slim & Lite version which will last for 7 to 11 hours (a little bit shorter if you're watching movies) and will allow you to almost rival the battery life of the Nintendo DS.

Japan will be able to buy longer gaming potential as of March 19 for about 35 euro. Europeans, what a surprise, will have to wait a little bit longer and pay a little bit more.
