In the latest issue of Edge Magazine, the man, co-founder of the studio behind God of War for PSP, states that Sony Entertainment's PSP actually didn't have much of a chance as a handheld gaming platform as it was the first Sony made, and as always with "firsts", it had some major flaws making it "doomed from the start":

"It was the first portable that Sony released - it's a trial by fire,"
