Pachter: Wii in the ropes by X360 and PS3
Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter believes that both the Xbox360 and PS3 now offer a better value for money than Nintendo's console as it only costs $50 less:
"I think that they may see sales suffer, and certainly will see sales down year-over-year," says Pachter. "So we have to see if they cut, unbundle and cut, or rebundle (with Wii Sports Resort plus Wii Motion Plus). They’re hard to figure out."
Meanwhile, Kaufman Bros.' Todd Mitchell goes even further by plain saying Nintendo is "struggling to keep the Wii relevant"A cheap X360 or PS3 Slim versus the number one casual games console. What will the general population choose?
