No escaping from layoffs

Releasing a game that doesn't sell millions for a company that's looking at budget cuts (yes, that's Sony Entertainment) isn't a healthy situation.

PAIN developer Idol Minds seems to have felt that as sources inside the company say that several waves of layoffs have been happening.

The layoffs at the company, based in Louisville, Colorado between Boulder and Denver, have been coming in waves we're told, with the latest impacting 17 employees. Our sources tell us that in total, 26 of the staff of once 46 have been let go.

With Sony Entertainment apparently being the only source of income, it's quite clear where the orders are coming from. Quite PAINful...
