Painkiller: Overdose announced
Jowood and Dreamcatcher have announced the next iteration of Painkiller, Painkiller: Overdose.
The new game was originally a fan-project but will now receive full publisher support.
Overdose can be seen as a prequel to an upcoming sequel and will bridge any storyline holes to tie both stories together.
A new character will be introduced and features include six new weapons, 16 new levels, reshuffled Tarot deck that gives new combos and powers to Belial, over 40 monsters from hell and a bunch of new End Bosses.
Release is set for October this year
