Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester has said at their latest showcase that he believes the next generation of consoles will be the last as we know it.
"The next generation of console hardware will probably be the last. I'd be surprised if we see another generation after that."
Wesker is convinced that traditional boxed products will continue to decline and that digital distribution and "open" platforms like PC, mobiles and social networks will continue to rise.In other news:
