Part 1 of Duke Nukem Trilogy coming to DS and PSP in September
Some great news coming from GDC about Duke Nukem. Only too bad it isn't about 'the one game to rule them all'. Nope, no DNF just yet but word got out that the first part of the new Duke Nukem Trilogy is coming to your portable consoles this September.
The game, called Critical Mass, will be set in the future whereas the other two parts are respectively set in modern day and during World War II.
No 3D-Realms on the development part as they are still presumably busy with DNF or the search for a new Duke live action star. Instead we are getting Frontline Studios, a studio that already did some cellphone Duke projects. At least this way we are sure to really see a game coming September :).
IGN had the opportunity to play around with it a bit and they seemed to be surprised about the release date as the game still seemed to be in quite the alpha stadium.
For the occasion, the Apogee label has been revived which actually even makes me want DNF even more.
