Peggle, one of those super addictive 'just-one-more-try-o-damn-it's-two-in-the-morning-already' games from PopCap is hitting Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday. Finally!

While it took quite some time to develop a version that could be played with the Xbox controllers it seems that we are getting loads of options and fun guaranteed modes in return.

Next to 75 challengers mode levels, 55 regular levels and 10 unlockable master levels there will also be two multiplayer modes. Those will exist in the form of a duel model that can be played both online and offline and a four player party mode that can only be played over Live.

The goal remains the same: Take out the orange pegs before your shot counter hits zero.

You can enjoy some 720p HD peggle with online leaderboards for the mere price of 800 MS Points or $10 in the real world.
