Peter Jackson signed with Ubi due to displeasure on EA

The New York Times is reporting that Lord of the Rings & King Kong director Peter Jackson signed up with Ubisoft for a King Kong game because he didn't like working with EA.

Mr. Jackson, said close associates, chafed at his dealings with the industry heavyweight, Electronic Arts, during the making of the Lord of the Rings games. "Electronic Arts was not interested in input from the filmmaker," but later marketed the games as if he were closely involved, said Ken Kamins, Mr. Jackson's manager.

Well, from what I've seen of King Kong, the game, Ubisoft hasn't been doing such a great job either. The camera viewpoint seems to be all but great so I hope for us gamers that that will be changed still...
