The Pirates of the Caribbean games have never been a real success, but that doesn't stop Disney from making a new one based on this franchise!
Under the name Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned we can expect a more action oriented RPG. More information is not really known, but the people at totalvideogames think that it'll be a game in the style of Fable, with morale choices and such.

Currently in development at Propaganda Games, Armada of the Damned promises something a little more substantial in the shape of an action-RPG. Set before the events of the Hollywood trilogy, players take on the role of a pirate as he embarks on adventures across the land and sea. Suggesting that the game will employ a Fable-esque moral dynamic, players will need to make choices that affect their character and the outcome of the story in a sandbox gameworld.
By placing it before the movies, this game might even be good. A nice example of this are the Chronicles of Riddick games!In other news:
