Playstation 3 version of GTAIV more expensive

Bad news for the fans who wanted to buy Grand Theft Auto IV on the Playstation 3. They will have to pay more than the owners of the Xbox 360 version. This is not the first game which will be more expensive on the PS3, Devil May Cry 4 also had a higher price.

Speaking to videogaming247 today, both Game and GameStation store managers said they expected the PS3 version of the Rockstar title to cost more than the 360 SKU, but neither outlet has yet priced the game.

“The PS3 version will probably cost more. We’re expecting an RRP from Rockstar on April 14,” the GameStation staffer said. “They dictate the price, basically.”

Currently the difference in price is only used in several UK stores. Let's hope that Rockstar is not going to advise the price like Capcom did with DMC4. Otherwise many stores will probably take advantage of the more expensive PS3 version.
