Playstation Awards: FF XIII is the big winner
Sony's annual Playstation Awards, an event where the biggest and most succesful titles for PS3, PSP and PSN get awarded, has come and gone again.
This year glory was given to Final Fantasy XIII. The game started with some negative criticism, but got the 'Platinum' label after only 24 hours after release already. In short: the game sold over one million times in 24 hours. Worldwide about 5.5 million gamers bought it up to now.
Gold Awards were also give to games that sold at least half a million times and amongst others, Yakuza 4 and Fist of the North Star Warriors were winners in this category. For PSP Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, God Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker got to climb the stage.
