During the press conference of yesterday, Sony Entertainment showed some statistics of their Playstation Network. Since the launch in 2006, over 50 million accounts have been made (how many people have numerous accounts?).

The Playstation Store contains over 75.000 items, including 1000 titles which offer online functionality. The PS3 video service is at this time available in eight countries (working hard on getting it available globally) and the Digital Comic Service is active in seven regions.

Even with Home they're quite happy. Since the launch, over 14 million people have entered this virtual world and now there are over 11.000 items for sale and over 300 places to visit.
