Plenty of Duke still to come!

The Duke's still chewing bubblegum

According to 3D Realms' Scott Miller, Duke Nukem is all but dead and we'll be seeing plenty of him in the near future.

The first issue of Gamesauce Magazine has an interview with the guy and there he said plenty of Duke projects are in the works:

"There are numerous other Duke games in various stages of development, several due out this year. We are definitely looking to bring Duke into casual gaming spaces, plus there are other major Duke games in production."

"Almost all of these [projects] are unannounced,"

Don't expect Duke Nukem Forever though, it will most probably the upcoming iPhone games, an XBLA port of Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project and the upcoming Duke Nukem Trilogy that's scheduled to appear on DS and PSP.

He's also reconfirmed that Duke Nukem Forever is still being worked on as well as the upcoming Duke movie:

yes, we released the internal team, but that doesn't correlate to the demise of the project (Duke Nukem Forever, ed.)

the Duke film is making steady progress...we're developing a much more complete storyverse for Duke, filling out all of the details we've left to the imagination in the games
