Popular EA franchises coming to Mac

On GamesIndustry.biz , EA has revealed that the company will be bringing some of its most popular titles to the Mac platform. For this, EA will be using the TransGaming's Cider engine that shortens the time of the porting process between PC/console and Mac.

"We're thrilled that TransGaming's Cider engine will dramatically decrease the time it will take to bring EA's hit portfolio of games to a thirsty Mac market."

According to EA, Mac-owners can look forward to the following games which will be released this summer: Command & Conquer 3, Battlefield 2142, Need For Speed Carbon and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Later this year Madden NFL 08 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will arrive on Mac at the same time they are released for consoles.
