Whiptail Interactive sent out the following :
“POSTAL 2” is the # 1 selling PC game at Gamestop & Electronics Boutique. Publisher Whiptail Interactive announced today that POSTAL 2, the highly controversial action game developed by Running With Scissors has sold out and is now on backorder.

I finished it too, but "absolutely rocks" is a bit too much honor. I admit it kept me going aswell even though I got frustrated because of the amount of loading areas. I expected better from them though.

True, the loading areas is a negative point. But the absence of multi-player is a big booboo.
Nevertheless, for me this is still the number one game of 2003 so far. :)
