Yay for Prey2. DNF is a dead fish in the water btw :P

Prey didn't really deliver what they promised. And it was far too short. Maybe number two will be better but I doubt it. But then people seem to enjoy mediocre games thesedays.

For those hoping DNF will return, forget it. You oughta be stupid to believe they will ever release it. I mean, since when was this game annouanced? 97? its 2007 anytime.

Either they are doing the best game ever created and pay attention to EVERY detail ( Hey, they got 10 years to make it so... ) or they have pretty much sent DNF into trash.

Notice a pattern from them ( 3D Realms that is ) whenever they get a feeling DNF is about to be spoken of. Avoiding questions, or 'Empty' promise.

And not to fotget, they keep doing other games other than DNF. If you really pay attention, you'll find out that 3D Realms is keeping fans, not by doing other games, but simple because they have a magical game that everybody loves, coming.

Might really take "Forever" but I'm guessing they want that suspence to keep fans lovin 3D Realms. And really ask yourself, why are they keeping DNF info SO tight from us all? Could it be because they trashed it? They want you to just believe? Make believe?

And also, for a game to be 'In Development' status for 10 years, don't you think some, just SOME employee just might, MIGHT have slipped any if some info on the game all these years? I still smell a game spirit in the air ( DNF ) but nothing physical ( the game )

So keep wondering where DNF is. I mean, you've got "Forever" to do so :)

Prey was actually announced before DNF was...

But Prey ceased development in 99, DNF never did. DNF is the vaporware king.

3DRealms are noob developers. They have switched engines several times and started over twice.

Would love to see and play DNF as i loved the old DN,multiplayer was hilarious but i wont be holding my breath.

As for Prey2 coming out,i would rather wipe my arse with a hedgehog than play another Prey,i played the demo and was not impressed.
From the hype surrounding this game before it came out or there was any demo we was made to believe it was going to be the second coming of christ.
It was just Doom3 with no scares and walking on the ceiling and nice looking portals.

One rule of thumb for you; never fall for hype, and your expectations won't be sky high when you get your hands on a game :P

Myself, I thought Prey was pretty good.

I dont fall for hype ever,i'll allways make my own mind up but when a game does get hyped to the max you gota think that maybe its kinda good.

In the case of Prey,it was hyped up big time and is so below average its unbelievable,i've only seen one mate on xboxlive playing it and even he said it was boring,the only reason he played it is because he's an achievment whore.
