Prey is definitely coming back
As we reported earlier on, Prey is back on track. Last time the only source was a CNN/Money article, now it seems that 3D Realms and Take Two are making preparations for this shooter, which utilises the Doom III engine and is being made by Human Head Studios.
The first and most clear reason to believe that Prey is still alive is that 3D Realms has opened up an official forum. Hop on in there for some serious speculation as it is common for the last years on the 3D Realms forums.
The second fact is that Take Two has reopened www.Prey.com . You can see nothing interesting there but if you wait for a while then a Flash animation will pop up with the following slogan 'Earth's Savior Doesn't Want The Job' and a quick blink on a weird face with glowing eyes.
When taking a closer look at the source code of the site then you can read this: 'Hiding things in the source code is so 20th century. If you're looking for more info: PC Gamer. June issue. Worldwide debut.' Like Blues said it on their site, a worldwide debut for a game that was already revealed in 1998 sounds too funny, isn't it?
