Pricing details and release date of Rag Doll Kung Fu

Rag Doll Kung Fu, the cute-looking fighting game from Lionhead-designer Mark Healey, will go live on the Steam distribution platform on October 12th.

The price will be a mere $12.95, if you pay that you'll get the following goodies in return:

Featuring a wide collection of single and multiplayer games, either online or with multiple mice, Rag Doll Kung Fu provides players with one of the most creative and unique game experiences delivered in years. Additionally, between game rounds, the challenges of an aspiring Kung Fu master are revealed via outlandish cut scenes inspired by classic Kung Fu cinema.

With Steam, Valve apparently really wants to set a new standard for smaller projects like Rag Doll Kung Fu but also for games like Sin Episodes and Pirates of the Burning Sea:

Steam offers developers and publishers a direct distribution channel to over 5.5 million customers.

I guess those devs and pubs still realise how many people don't have Steam or a credit card.
