Pro Evolution Soccer coming to Wii in March
Konami has given a more precize date for the release of Pro Evolution Soccer for the Wii. This March we'll hopefully be able to enjoy a decent soccer game on Nintendos console.
Whether it will be any good is a big question mark though. On paper the controls already look quite daring; dribbling is done by point&click with your remote, shaking will bring forth a trick, and passing is also done with pointing.
The Nunchuck will have a role to play as well as you can tackle with it and control your keeper while the D-pad is used to choose tactical options.
Qua content things seem to be quite alright with all known modes present as well as an exclusive Champion's Road competition where you get to lead one team through different championships. Also online playing is possible and you can adjust your players so they look like you or your friends.
We wonder whether all this innovation and new ideas will lead to a deep and well controllable game. We'll know in March.
